Ceremonial Sessions

Blessingways

Honor The Divine Feminine Within.

Blessingways are a rite of passage. They are a chance to slow down and honor the mother-to-be. Different from a baby shower, they focus solely on the mother and how we can best support her journey. It is a beautiful way to connect, acknowledge, and highlight all the beautiful traits she carries that will be passed down to the baby within her womb. They are a meaningful way of coming together and welcoming this next chapter.

What all does it entail?

A typical blessingway consists of creating an altar with lots of symbolic items, intention setting, rituals, refreshments, and pampering of the mother-to-be. Please bring any meaningful items to present and place on the altar for the mother. Communication up until the day of the ceremony is shared between Demacy and the blessingway organizer.

How long do they last?

A blessingway lasts anywhere between 2 to 3 hours depending on how many activities we move through.

Where are they held?

The ceremony can be facilitated in your home or rented space.

What’s included?

Set up and take down of basic altar pieces like fresh flowers, candles, light refreshments and symbolic items. Planning and execution of ceremony from beginning to end (activities, meditations, etc.). Demacy provides flower crowns for participating to wear and all materials needed for rituals.

What is the cost?

$375 for up to 3 hours of time and travel for in-home or rented spaces, set-up and take down, facilitation of blessingway.

$40 fee for each hour over the 3 hour mark.

Placenta Burial Ceremony

Honor the birth of your baby by returning your placenta to the earth. Placenta burial ceremonies have been practiced in many cultures all over the world. It is said that by burying your placenta, you are connecting your baby to the earth and energetically aligning them to their higher self. This is a simple ritual that is experienced in your home in a more intimate setting or share in community with loved one.

What does it consist of?

We will move through a simple ritual of honoring your journey, calling in ancestral support, and reflecting on your birth story. Then we will dress the placenta in herbs and flowers that align with your desires for your baby. The placenta is wrapped in a biodegradable cloth and then placed into the earth or a potted plant.

How long does it take?

The ceremony itself will last just about an hour.

What is provided?

Herbs, candles, and basic altar set up/take down. Facilitation of ceremony. Potted plant can be provided at an addition fee of $50 to cover material. Limited choices available.

What is the cost?

$200 for up to one hour. $35 travel fee for homes an hour outside of Brevard. Demacy arrives about 45 minutes before start time to set up.
